Castle of Rasun Nuova

The Castle of Rasun Nuova in Rasun di Sopra was built by the Lords of Rasun around 1200, just like Rasun Vecchia Castle. The curtain walls were entirely restored, which is why they are still visible today.

The ruins of Rasun Nuova can be easily reached by starting at the Pfaffinger farms in Rasun di Sotto. Here you need to follow the white-blue signposts to the Jagdhaus. Then you continue until the chapel where you take path no. 1 leading to the ruins of Rasun Nova.
