The Rodengo-Luson Alp is a fantastic hiking destination for those who want to spend a day in the snow

Our winter hike starts at the large Zumis car park which is accessible both from Rodengo and Luson. At the car park we take the large hiking path no. 2. Soon the large forest road is paralleled by the Creation path (Sentiero della Creazione), signposted no. 4. We continue walking along the large forest road because from that point on it is snow-covered, which means that we can pull our sledges. The path runs smoothly uphill and is also suitable for baby carriages. The 10.5 km long cross-country ski track of Alpe di Luson and Rodengo runs along this itinerary and continues on the Rodengo and Luson high plateau.
After about 50 minutes of walking we finally arrive at the Roner Alm hut at 1,832 m a.s.l. which is a spacious venue for hikers and skiers. In front of the hut there are several possibilities to play games, as well as a small sledge run and an igloo for children.
On our return we take the Sentiero della Creazione. Those who would like to descend by sledge can do so along path no. 2. The Sentiero della Creazione runs across the forest and features several installations symbolising the Bible history of the Creation. Good food, a pleasant walk and wonderful views are the memories we take with us from this walk.
