The starting point of our hike is the car park near the skilift of Terento. Along the via del sole we take via Flitsch. Having crossed an underground passage below the course of the skilifts, we turn right behind the maso Oberleitnerhof and follow the signposts "Mühlenweg". We ascend along the left side of the ski slope and keep left also at the mountain station of the skilift where we continue heading towards Mühlenweg. The path climbs across the alpine meadows. We walk past some farms and to our left we see a swishing brook. After a bridge we follow path no. 8A which constantly ascends across the forest in large bends. In February 2020 this path was blocked by some uprooted trees which were removed in the meantime.
After 6.6 km of walking we reach an upland that delights us with an impressive view of the Dolomites. The numerous wooden benches and deckchairs invite us to sit down and relax. For our descent we retrace our steps.
Those who would like to extend this hike can continue towards east along path no. 8 to malga Astnerbergalm which is only an hour's walk from Gols.
