The "Lugger Stadl" barn in the village centre of Obertilliach in East Tyrol was transformed into a very special museum in 2006. It offers an interesting insight into the ancient rural history of the village and the valley by several objects of daily living and an impressive collection of coaches and sledges.
The exhibition in the Obertilliach Coach and Local Museum shows among others sickles to cut grass and baskets in which the hay was carried back to the farm. The collection of coaches impresses with bridal carriages and funeral coaches. Small but mighty!
