The village of Chivo with its 100 inhabitants is characterised by farms and houses. The locality is surrounded by meadows covering a slope. Higher on this slope lie the farms and forests of Monte Frello and on the top the malghe di Rodengo. From there you enjoy a stunning view of the Alpine divide and the Sarentino Alps on the opposite side of the Valle Isarco. Chivo doesn't have a parish church, however, the "Hospe" farm in the village centre features a private, small chapel from the 18th century which cannot be visited.
