The 2,725 m high Monte di Dentro is a wonderful destination for ski mountaineering tours

The starting point of today's hike is lake Anterselva at 1,600 m a.s.l. We get on our skis and cross the frozen lake until we reach its eastern shore. The ascent to passo Stalle which starts from here is initially rather flat. After about 20 minutes of walking we arrive at a sledge run that we follow towards malga Montal for a short time before turning left. We cross a small valley in a steep ascent and meet the sledge run in several spots before arriving at passo Stalle at 2,052 m a.s.l.
We proceed towards southeast to the Weißenbachtal. Near the Bachschlucht gorge we turn right and enter a small avalanche chute. We enter the valley to the left and continue to ascend to the upper part of the basin by crossing a narrow avalanche chute. As we leave it behind us we need to tackle a steep slope with several hairpin bends at the right side of the peak.
Eventually we reach the ridge thanks to which we reach the highest point of Monte di Dentro (2,725 m a.s.l.). For our descent we retrace our steps. Alternatively you can descend along the steep slopes towards the Agstal valley which takes you directly to passo Stalle.
