The municipality of Monguelfo Tesido on the Western slope of Monte Costa near the spot where the Rio Casies flows into the Rienza river is a fantastic destination for a relaxing holiday in nature. The around 2,800 inhabitants of the municipality do not live only in Monguelfo and Tesido but also in the hamlets of Novale, Malga di Tesido, Riva di Sotto and Prati.
The central position of Monguelfo Tesido allows visitors to reach the city of Brunico, the upper Val Pusteria with the Dolomites and even the valley bottom of the Val Casies in no time.
