Novale with its 40 inhabitants is a small village extending in the proximity of the Val Pusteria cycle path. It is an ideal starting point for hikes in the Alta Pusteria or a stroll in the city of Brunico. The most well-known hiking destinations in the surroundings are the artificial lake of Valdaora and malga Walder Alm.
In the village starts a 5-km long circular path leading to the Lettner, Waldbrunn and Gailerhof farms before returning to Monguelfo.
