Molini, this is how a small village belonging to Falzes is called, located at 930 m a.s.l. about 3 km from the chief village along the Strada del Sole of the Val Pusteria, between Terento and Falzes.
A particular natural phenomenon can be found in Molini, despite of the fact that it is of rather modest dimensions. In the village, there is a columnar crown spruce which is unique on European scale. It can be admired only a stone's throw from the gourmet restaurant Schöneck, which is by the way a highly recommendable address for gourmets.
Name-giving for the restaurant is the nearby Castel Schöneck, a high Mediaeval castle located on a hillside. It dates back to the 12th century and was constructed by the Lords of Rodengo, today it is in private hands.
Our tip: starting from Molini, you can easily reach the pond of Issengo, which provides refreshment on hot summer days for all the family members.
