The Klausberg skiing area in the heart of the Valle Aurina in Cadipietra attracts alpine skiing enthusiasts both thanks to its spectacular view of the more than 3,000 m high summits and its numerous ski slopes suitable for skiers of all levels.
The highest cable car of South Tyrol, a snowpark with halfpipe for snowboarders, Klausilandia and a ski park for children await you here. Klausi the marmot offers various attractions for children including a magical carpet, a Klausi-express, a snow igloo, the castle of Klausi, slides, the witche's slalom and much more. Parents can undertake thrilling descents along the most difficult slopes of the area such as the Hexenschuss, Hühnerspiel Steilhang, Steinhaus and Sattelhorn while the children are playing with Klausi.
Ski fun is guaranteed from December to Easter thanks to the eight modern ski lifts and 32 kilometres of ski slopes which can also be besnowed artificially. Popular refreshment points in the area are malga Niederhofer, ristorante Almboden and Weissenbachl where you can taste delicious local food.
On Tuesday evenings the Klausberg Skiarena organises sledging evenings along the longest night slope of South Tyrol (5 km). If you purchase the night ticket the number of descents you can undertake is unlimited. Do not miss an evening at the Hexenkessel, a famous Après ski pub near the valley station.
