Daksy, the clever badger

Daksy, the clever badger guides children through South Tyrol’s nature parks

Daksy, the clever badger, accompanies children on their trip through South Tyrol's fascinating nature parks and visitors centres. These visits are both an educational and interesting experience for children and adults alike. Daksy answers some of the childrens' questions you would probably struggle to answer. Why are there no trees on high mountains? Why do mice leave their caves by night? Are small red-backed shrikes dangerous? Daksy will explain you everything...

The visitors centres were set up in a child-friendly way and organise special activities dedicated to children. In the Fanes-Sennes-Braies visitors centre in Marebbe visitors can admire the skeleton of a bear, as well as a terrarium with various animals and and discover the most popular legends on the Dolomites. The Tre Cime visitors centre in Dobbiaco features an interactive laboratory where little guests can explore nature with all their senses. In the forest behind the structure there are a celtic horoscope, a tree village and the "Mondo Magico della Foresta", which is an adventure playground for children.

In the Visitors Centre of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park in Campo Tures children can observe the park from a bird's eye perspective. The centre shows how mountains formed and tells the most popular legends surrounding the Dolomites. Delve into the fascinating world of nature and the mountains with Dasky, the clever badger.
