The Vedrette di Ries-Aurina visitor centre at Campo Tures has been established true to the motto "limits of nature and limits of humans" and provides impressions of the nature parks from a slightly different perspective. A peculiarity is the 3-dimensional relief, providing an overview of mountains, mountain huts, lakes and trails. Hand-carved birds of prey as well as fairy-tales and legends, however, are meant to entertain above all the little ones.
Traditions, the development of landscape, the arts of lace-making and the arts of wood-carving in Valle Aurina is the focus in the Visitors’ centre of Casere. Also information on the most important high-altitude paths and border trails are provided. Moreover there is a relaxing and panorama corner, the view on the most beautiful valley head of South Tyrol is amazing.
