Vila di Sotto and Rio Liccio are located only a stone’s throw from the cycle track of the Val Pusteria
Vila di Sotto has got 200 inhabitants and is located at 950 m a.s.l. Like Plata, Rio Liccio, Sopranessano and Nessano, also Vila di Sotto is a mainly agricultural village.
Vila di Sotto extends from the road of the Val Pusteria to the gorge of the Rienza, close to the village the cycle track of the Val Pusteria passes by, ideal if you would like to make a cycling tour across the valley. Slightly more in the east, there is the little village of Rio Liccio with its 30 inhabitants. Starting from there you can go for pleasant walks, e.g. to the Greiterstöckl or to Novale.
