The sky is reflected in the Lago Campofosso lake above the Val di Fundres valley. A crisp hiking route leads from Vallarga up to the 2,442 m high mountain lake below the Cima di Terento (Eidechsspitze).

Vallarga is located about 4 km from Vandoies di Sotto in the Val di Fundres, at 880 m a.s.l. The centre of the village is represented by the S. Tommaso parish church and a village fountain made of stone, decorated with the municipal coat of arms.

The hamlets spread in the bottom of the valley, that is to say Außerdrittel, Dorf, Huntsdorf and Hinterdrittel also belong to the village like the hamlets Schaldern, Kegelberg and Honigberg. Above the village, the local mountain of Vandoies rises into the sky, this mountain is called Cima di Terento.

Regarding leisure, Vallarga offers a sports area with football field, a shooting area and two tennis courts. Highly recommendable is also a walk at the head of the valley, that is to say in Fundres.
