The village of Vallarga in the Val di Fundres is only 4 km from Vandoies di Sotto, the administrative centre of the municipality. The centre of the locality is formed by the St. Thomas church and a well decorated with the coat of arms of the municipality.
Vallarga also comprises the hamlets of Ausserdrittel, Dorf, Huntsdorf and Hinterdrittel on the valley floor, whereas the mountain villages of Schaldern, Kegelberg and Honigberg extend on the nearby slopes. The village is overlooked by the Fundres mountains, including the Cima di Terento, the local mountain of Vandoies.
Sports enthusiasts can play tennis and football at the football field and tennis courts or put their shooting skills to the test at the shooting gallery. One of the most well-known hikes in the surroundings leads to the pastures and huts of the valle di Fundres.
