The skiing region in the Sesto Dolomites in the Alta Val Pusteria belongs to the Dolomiti Superski ski carousel

The skiing region Dolomiti di Sesto in the Alta Pusteria includes 7 skiing areas in the Dolomites with a total of 115 km of ski slopes and 31 ski lifts. The region 3 Cime Dolomiti is composed of the skiing areas Monte Elmo-Orto del Toro-Croda Rossa (68 km of slopes), Monte Baranci (23 km), Passo Monte Croce (1.5 km), Dobbiacco Rienza (4 km), Braies di Fuori (3.5 km), Waldheim Sesto (1.5 km) and Val Comelico (13.5 km) in the province of Belluno.

The Tre Cime cable car connects the ski areas of Monte Elmo and Croda Rossa. The Dolomiti Superski ski pass, which can be used also in the 3 Cime Dolomiti skiing area, is valid in 12 different skiing areas (with a total of 1,200 km of ski slopes and 450 lift facilities) spread throughout the provinces of Bolzano, Trento and Belluno. This skiing area also features various sledge runs, a ski cross slope for children on monte Elmo, a path dedicated to Rudi the reindeer on the Croda Rossa, as well as two unique attractions: the Funslope Croda Rossa and the Funpark Monte Elmo.

Snowboarders can have fun in the different snowparks, including the snow park 3 Cime on Monte Elmo and the Shaka snow park in the Dobbiacco Rienza skiing area. With a drop of 71% the Holzriese slope on the Croda Rossa is the steepest ski slope in South Tyrol! Besides the free skibus services in the Alta Pusteria, you can also use the Ski Pustertal Express, a train which connects the skiing area in the Sesto Dolomites to the Plan de Corones skiing area every 30 minutes.
