PLEASE NOTE: THE MONTE BARANCI SKIING AREA IS CURRENTLY CLOSED AND REOPENS FOR THE 2026/27 WINTER SEASON.
The Monte Baranci skiing area in the beautiful Sesto Dolomites is part of the 3 Cime Dolomiti skiing area in the Alta Pusteria and thus also of the Dolomiti Superski carousel. With 23 km of easy and intermediate slopes, Monte Baranci is a rather small ski resort but therefore highly appreciated by families.
Children have fun playing at the playground near the mountain station. Families can descend to the valley on a 2 km long slope. Besides featuring traditional ski slopes, this skiing area is also complete with a snow tubing slope and a snowpark for snowboarders. On some evenings the ski resort organises moonlight sledge runs in full moon nights. On these occasions the refreshment points in the area are open also in the evening.
The Monte Baranci skiing area also features numerous hiking paths and snowshoeing itineraries, as well as a 6 km long cross-country ski track.
