The Cascate di Riva in Campo di Tures are a perfect destination for a refreshing summer hike
The Riva waterfalls in Campo Tures owe their name to the eponymous river plunging down from the rock walls of the Tobel gorge near Campo Tures. This stream has its origin in Riva di Tures and crosses the entire valle di Tures until Campo Tures where it flows into the Aurino stream.
The popular Riva waterfalls are situated in the hamlet of Winkel. The highest waterfalls are 50-metres high, whereas the smallest one has a drop of 10 metres. The waterfalls are reachable both from Winkel and Tobel by walking along a path with installations dedicated to Saint Francis.
