Alta Pusteria Chörefestival, church concerts and Gustav Mahler Musikwochen, in Val Pusteria there is something for every taste!

Cultural centre Ragenhaus with its Renaissance arcade courtyard, parish church, concert hall, mountain hut, alpine pasture or Grand Hotel cultural centre, as varied as the concert venues are the performances that are offered in Val Pusteria.

Dobbiaco is famous for its organ summer as well as the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks dedicated to the famous composer. Moreover it is one of the venues for the Alta Pusteria Choir Festival, including evening performances, open air revues and many more musical encounters. Music does not even spare the mountains, as concerts take place also on the Plan de Corones, and entertains people also in Brunico,

However, if you prefer the rather traditional music style we warmly recommend you to visit a concert of a local music group, as the valley has plenty of them. Also village fairs and the city festival of Brunico, taking place every two years, is a perfect occasion to experience traditional music at close quarters. Moreover there are several young music bands who also give concerts to the public from time to time.

So as you might notice, the offer is huge, just ask at the respective tourist office for the next concert highlights! Sit back, relax and enjoy the music.
