The Val Pusteria hosts several concerts and music events, such as the Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival and the Custav Mahler Music Weeks

The Ragenhaus with its Renaissance courtyard, several parish churches, concert halls, mountain huts and restaurants, the cultural centre Grand Hotel in Dobbiaco and different cultural halls of the valley host a huge variety of concerts dedicated to different musical genres and repertoires.

In summer, the village of Dobbiaco turns into a true stage for music events, like organ concerts in summer, the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks organised in honour of the famous composer and the Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival which is composed of open air concerts and meetings. Other famous concert sites are the city of Brunico and the Plan de Corones.

If you are into traditional and folk music we recommend attending the concerts of the numerous local music groups. During the traditional village festivals and the "Brunico in festa" you can also try exquisite local delicacies. Also some child and teenager choirs perform occasionally.

For further information on the music events in Val Pusteria, contact the local tourism offices or take a look at our event calendar!
