Dolomiti Superbike

The popular mountain bike race Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike awaits you in the beautiful scenery of the Alta Pusteria

The legendary mountain bike race Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike is known as the hardest MTB race of the Dolomites. It has been taking place for more than 20 years now. The cyclists, pros and not, pass along the most beautiful places such as the Prato Piazza highland, the Landro valley and Lake Dobbiaco, between the impressive rockfaces of the Dolomites. Also a glimpse of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo is included. Sustainability is a major concern - the disposal of any rubbish along the track leads to disqualification.

The event, taking place every year in July, includes not only the mountain bike race. The whole centre of Villabassa transforms into a festival ground with Expo Area. Dolomiti Superbike is organized by the OK-Team (Dolomiti Superbike organisation committee).

There are three distances the athletes can choose from: the long distance (123 km and 3,400 m of altitude difference), the medium distance (85 km and 2,360 m of altitude difference), or the short distance (60 km and 1,570 m of altitude difference). Dolomiti Superbike is known as the MTB race in Italy with the largest number of participants - more than 4,000.

Next Dolomiti Superbike race: July 13th, 2024
