Riomolino, a village above Villa Ottone, is an ideal hiking destination in nature

The village of Rio Molino at 1,400 m a.s.l. above Villa Ottone has about 50 inhabitants. The church of the village, consecrated to the Fourteen Auxiliary Saints, is situated on a steep hill above the valley.
We highly recommend a hike to the "Badl im Mühlbacher Talele", the highest mineral water spring of Val Pusteria. This spring is embedded in the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina nature park at 1,700 m a.s.l and is an ideal starting point for an alpine tour to the Cima del Vento. The malghe Unterweger and Oberwanger, as well as the "Badl" are accessible also by mountain bike. The well-known Tesselberg tour from Vila di Sopra to Gais leads past Rio Molino.
