The Plan de Corones overlooks the city of Brunico in the heart of the Val Pusteria
Brunico is an important cultural centre stretching at an altitude of 838 m a.s.l. It is home to 11,000 inhabitants. The city is overlooked by the Plan de Corones, a well-known hiking and skiing area which attracts several visitors every year.
Along the picturesque Via Centrale in the city centre, you can admire colourful façades, as well as traditional and new shops. Winter sports lovers will particularly enjoy the 105 km of ski slopes of the Plan de Corones skiing area. The panoramic platform below the Concordia bell provides stunning views of the mountains of South Tyrol.
