Braies di Dentro with its 140 inhabitants, includes Ferrara, the main village of the municipality, which lies at an altitude of 1,222 m a.s.l. The Redeemer church from 1753 is one of the main attractions of this village situated between Ferrara and San Vito.
In winter, the village of Braies di Dentro features a 3.5 km long cross-country ski itinerary. Other cross-country ski tracks are available in Ferrara, Braies Vecchia and on the Prato Piazza high plateau. In the proximity of the village start several skimo itineraries, whereas alpine skiers can have fun on the ski slopes in Braies.
