The Red Bull Dolomitenmann is a truly spectacular and demanding sports event
Completing the race without difficulties and injuries is the aim of all the athletes...ranking among the best the icing on the cake. The route of one of the world's most challenging sports competitions is set up in the impressive Dolomites where the athletes have to climb peaks and cross pastures, brooks and forests.
Every team is composed of four athletes: a mountain runner, a paraglider, a kayaker and a mountain biker.
The competition is characterised by steep slopes, protruding rocks and whitewater. To successfully complete this exhausting physical challenge, athletes need to push themselves to their limits and give their all.
The Red Bull Dolomitenmann takes place in Lienz every year in mid-September. Numerous people travel to the Austrian city to attend the race and cheer the athletes along the route!
In 2026 the Red Bull Dolomitenmann takes place on 12 September.
