At the Moosalm near Lienz, an attraction for the young and the old can be found: one of the longest Alpine Coasters worldwide

In the Hochstein hiking and skiing area, to be exact at the Moosalm mountain pasture, an alpine roller coaster attracts the young and the old. The Osttirodler, one of the longest Alpine Coasters worldwide, is 2.7 km long.
The Schlossbergbahn funicular takes you up to the Moosalm pasture, offering a petting zoo and adventure playground as well as a high-rope course. Afterwards the toboggan run Osttirodler starts down into the valley. The ride takes 6 minutes and offers you wonderful panoramic views on Bruck Castle and the beautiful city of Lienz.

The Osttirodler operates every year from early May to early November, from June 19 to September 7, 2025, every day, outside of these times from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays.
No operation in case of bad weather, the Schlossberg Cable Car has the same opening times.
Season start 2025 on May 9.
