If you drive towards the lake of Anterselva from Anterselva di Sotto you will arrive in Anterselva di Mezzo (1,236 m a.s.l.), the largest village of the valley with its 700 inhabitants.
The fresh mountain air can be perceived also in the valley. Those who would like to conquer the surrounding peaks can undertake hikes to the malga Außerweger, the Klammbach waterfall, to Malga Kumpfl or Malga Grente. The "Franzosensteig" itinerary takes you to Rasun di Sotto at the entrance of the valley.
The valley station of the Riepenlift in Anterselva di Mezzo allows skiers to reach the slope above the village. Thanks to its reduced length of 1.6 km and a drop of only 380 metres, this slope is particularly suitable for beginners. Ambitious skiers can have fun on the 105 km of ski slopes of the Plan de Corones skiing area.
