For the panoramic view alone, this skiing area in the Defereggental valley is worth to be visited. At an altitude of 2,525 m a.s.l. you can enjoy a view on more than 60 mountains of 3,000 metres, and of course on the majestic Grossglockner mountain. On the sunny slopes you will immediately feel at home: 26.5 km of ski slopes can be explored.
St. Jakob in Defereggen is considered to be THE family skiing area in East Tyrol, as particular attention is set on children. There are various attractions like a ski kindergarden, a magic carpet as well as child-friendly ski slopes.
The funpark Brunnalm of the skiing area, however, in the course of the time has become a real hotspot for snowboarders.
