The spectacular mountain bike race Dolomiti Superbike takes place in the magnificent mountain world of the Alta Val Pusteria
For 30 years, the legendary mountain bike race "Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike" has been organised every year in July by the Organisation Committee Dolomiti Superbike. Professional and amateur cyclists can discover the most fascinating places of the area, including Prato Piazza, the Valle Landro, lake Dobbiacco embedded among the rocky walls of the Dolomites, as well as the world-famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
This event is not only a mountain bike race: in fact, the competition is followed by a festival in the historic centre of Villabassa.
Participants can choose from three distances: the long course (123 km and 3,400 metres of altitude difference), the intermediate course (85 km and 2,360 m of altitude difference) and the short course (60 km and 1,750 m of altitude difference). With more than 4,000 participants, the Dolomiti Superbike is the mountain bike race with the highest number of participants in Italy.
