San Candido Christmas Market

At the end of November only a few days before the first Advent Sunday, San Candido (Innichen) inaugurates Christmas time with one of the three largest Christmas markets of South Tyrol and the Eastern Val Pusteria. The Christmas market of San Candido unites quietness and nature with meditation and these elements are incorporated by its wonderful stalls.

The Christmas market of San Candido is composed only of wooden houses selling handicrafts such as hats and carved figures and of course food including typical local dishes, meats and cured meats and cheeses. Every evening the village is illuminated by a romantic sea of Christmas lights.
