How to reach Val Pusteria by car
Val Pusteria:
Coming from Munich/Innsbruck you need to cross the passo Brennero and proceed on the autostrada del Brennero A22 towards Bolzano. Then, take the exit Varna/Bressanone/Val Pusteria. Right after the toll booth take the road to Brunico/Val Pusteria.
Delays may occur between Gries am Brenner and the passo Brennero due to construction works on the Luegbrücke bridge. The works are expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
Coming from Verona, take the motorway autostrada del Brennero A22 until the exit of Bressanone/Val Pusteria. After the toll booth take the road to Brunico/Val Pusteria and proceed until you reach your destination.
East Tyrol:
From Germany:
- E54 to Kiefersfelden/Kufstein
- Last exit before the border (Kiefersfelden)
(toll-free section of the motorway) - From Kufstein follow the “Felbertauernstrasse”
- continue to East Tyrol via the Felbertauernstrasse
From Switzerland:
- A14 via Feldkirch / Bludenz / Arlberg
- A12 via Innsbruck until the exit Wörgl Ost
- Follow the road “Felbertauernstrasse”
- drive past Kitzbühel and Mittersill to East Tyrol
From Austria:
- A2 from Vienna to Klagenfurt
- Villach (A 10) to Spittal (B 100) and you'll arrive in East Tyrol
- From Salzburg (A10) to Spittal
From Italy:
- From Bolzano (A22) via Bressanone (S 49 DIR/E 68)
- Via San Candido (B 100) to East Tyrol
- From Venice (A4/E 70) via Udine (A23/E55)
- Tolmezzo - Passo Monte Croce Carnico - East Tyrol
- From Brunico via Passo Stalle (the road to passo Stalle is open only in summer) to the Defereggental (East Tyrol)
