Valle San Silvestro, a small hamlet of the municipality of Dobbiaco at 1,318 m a.s.l., counts around 350 inhabitants. This village at the entrance of the eponymous valley is accessible via a road which starts at the parish church of Dobbiaco and leads towards north.
The locality is immersed in a stunning verdant landscape and is a perfect place to relax, far away from everyday life. The village features numerous walking paths in nature. You can undertake walks to Dobbiaco, climb the Cornetto di Confine or the Marchkinkele, discover the Valle di San Silvestro or make MTB tours to Franadega and Candelle. The Dolomiti Superbike race, the most challenging MTB race of the Alps, leads through Valle San Silvestro.
