The almost 3,000 m high Monte Baranci (Haunold, in German), a mountain of the Sesto Dolomites in the Alta Val Pusteria valley, is a popular excursion destination for families. The 2 km long Giant's realm circular trail with 10 interactive stations, the Dwarf Village with tree houses and suspension bridges, the barefoot lakes as well as the the longest South Tyrolean summer toboggan run can be found here.
The chairlift takes you up to 1,500 m a.s.l., where you can decide whether you would like to return to the valley by the chairlift again or by the Funbob, an almost 2 km long summer sledge track and unique adventure both for kids and adults. It overcomes an altitude difference of 314 m. Kids older than 8 years are allowed to drive on their own, while children under this age can experience this adventure accompanied by an adult.

Also tickets for 3 or 5 descents by Funbob and "Funbob Unlimited" tickets (with ascent by chairlift till 11.30 am and rides with the Funbob till 11 am) available.
Children up to 7 years have to be accompanied by an adult, from 8 years on they may drive their own Funbob. Identification requirement! Waiting times possible in the afternoon.
The Fun Bob operates from early June to early October, season start 2024 on June 8. The Monte Baranci Chairlift stays open daily from 9 am to 5.30 pm resp. 6.30 pm.
