Family Adventure Mountain Baranci

The Giant’s Realm and the alpine coaster are easily accessible by chair lift from San Candido

Monte Baranci, an almost 3,000 m high peak in the Sesto Dolomites in Alta Pusteria, is a popular destination for family excursions. The area includes small lakes, a circular path with 10 interactive installations surrounding the Giant's Realm, the dwarf village with tree houses and suspension bridges, as well as the longest alpine coaster course of South Tyrol.

The chairlift of Monte Baranci takes you up to an altitude of 1,500 m a.s.l. For your return to the valley you could take the alpine coaster which runs along a 2 km long course covering a drop of 314 m. Children older than 8 years can live their adventure on the alpine coaster on their own, whereas children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
