From Brunico to the border of Austria

This valley can be devided into two parts: from Brunico to Campo Tures and from Campo Tures to the borders of Austria. Surrounded by 14 mountain peaks of more than 3000 metres, this valley is perfect for those who like hiking and mountaineering. In spite of its vicinity to numerous glaciers, the climate is relatively mild.

Moreover the Valle Aurina is also home of the famous alpinist Hans Kammerlander. This is where Hans Kammerlander learned to appreciate the beauty of nature and also where he discovered his passion for the highest mountain peaks.

Towards Austria there is the Vedrette del Ries nature park, where you can find numerous hiking trails. Enjoy unique moments in the heart of nature, surrounded by the majestic mountain peaks of the Valle Aurina.

Furthermore there are several wellness and health centres in the Valle Aurina, perfect after an exhausting mountain tour! In winter you can find several ski regions throughout the valley. This is the right place for all those who love mountains and nature.
