Mountain biking and cycling

Val Pustieria is a paradise for cyclists and offers tours in every level of difficulty, from easy cycling paths to challenging alpine trails.

Deep blue sky, lush meadows, high mountains towering into the sky and a pleasantly fresh climate make a stay in Val Pusteria a particular experience, especially if you are spending your vacation with your two-wheeled friend. While families might prefer cycling along the paths in the valley, experts can face the challenge on difficult mountain trails high above the valley basin. As also a train runs through the valley, you can also do one way on your bike and return by train.

Moreover there are several cycling events taking place in the valley. The Dolomiti Superbike and the Maratona dles Dolomites, however, might be the most challenging bike races that are staged in the valley. Another highlight is the Sellaronda Bike Day, a day in which everyone is invited to take part in an cycle round the fantastic Sella alpenstock via four Dolomite passes.
