Nature and landscape

Val Pusteria stands for a rendezvous with nature, as this valley is blessed with an impressive landscape, casting a spell over people visiting this place.

In Val Pusteria mother nature was particularly generous - for this reason the valley offers a multitude of natural attractions that are unique worldwide. In the north there are the spurs of the Alpine devide and the Zillertal Alps, while in the south the Dolomites rule the terrain with their bizar rock formations. This mountain group has been declared UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in June 2009 and needs particular protection.
Nature in its purest state can also be experienced in the nature parks Vedrette di Ries-Aurina, Fanes-Senes-Braies, Alti Tauri and Sesto Dolomites, in between you might come across impressive natural monuments such as lakes Lago di Braies or Anterselva, real jewels and unique in their kind. A real redezvous with nature.
