Hike from the Croda Rossa to the Val Fiscalina

This 8 km long tour takes us from the mountain station of the Croda Rossa cable car to the Val Fiscalina. Our starting and end point is the valley station of the Croda Rossa cable car. Having arrived at the mountain station at 1,920 m a.s.l. we could eventually have a snack at the Rudi and Prati di Croda Rossa mountain huts. We take the path towards Rifugio Prati di Croda Rossa. After a slight bend we continue downhill for a few minutes. With the mountain hut to our left we walk across an alpine meadow until we reach the forest where we follow a signpost which also indicates a path towards the Val Fiscalina.

The hiking path no. 124 is a narrow trail through the forest and wonderful blooming meadows. We continue walking straight ahead and enjoy a fantastic view from Monte Cima di Sesto Nord. Soon the path ascends steeply along hairpin bends. At the next crossroads we find again two signposts of which one indicates a path to the Val Fiscalina. We take the larger path no. 153 after about one hour of walking time and turn left. At the next fork we keep left. A slight right bend takes us to the Dolomitenhof.

We arrive at the car park opposite of us where we keep right and take path no. 1a to Moso. This comfortable hiking path runs along forests and meadows. At the next fork we take the downhill path on the right. After some time we reach the signpost with the wording "Moos" which indicates towards right. We descend until we reach an asphalt road winding along the banks of the Rio Fiscalina. We cross the stream on a bridge and walk along its bank until we arrive at the car park.
