The Boutique & Gourmet Hotel Orso Grigio**** in San Candido ranks among the oldest establishments in the entire Alpine region. It is a member of the ‘Schlosshotels und Herrenhäuser’ association.
Records name the property’s hosts as far back as 1462, and the Ladinser family has managed it since 1745. Today, the accommodation operates as a charming four-star hotel in the historic, pedestrianised centre of San Candido.
Guests appreciate the hotel for its elegance, excellent food, and extensive wine cellar. With just 29 rooms, the property is pleasantly intimate. This small size ensures you experience a highly personal and friendly atmosphere. A beautiful roof terrace and an award-winning wellness area (German Design Award 2020) also await you.
You can join weekly events free of charge. These include wine tastings, the ‘Happy Beer’ afternoon snack (locally known as a *Marende*), a cooking class with Head Chef Rocco, and a guided hike led personally by the host.

Up to 2 weeks before arrival a free cancellation is possible at any time
Up to 1 week before arrival we charge 40% of the accommodation price
Cancellations 6 days or less before arrival we charged 80% of the accommodation price
Any deposits made are non-refundable and, in case of cancellations up to 2 weeks before arrival, will be credited for another stay valid for one year.
