Monte Baranci

The skiing area Monte Baranci in San Candido offers perfect conditions for family holidays.

Beside Monte Elmo, Croda Rossa, Dobbiaco, Passo Corce and Braies, Monte Baranci is part of the Ski Centre Alta Val Pusteria. The skiing area includes 8 km of well groomed ski slopes of easy and medium difficulty. Above all with families, Monte Baranci is very popular. The little ones can enjoy playing at the children’s playground located at the mountain station. Moreover there is a new 2 km long family run down to the valley. For those who prefer snowboarding, there is also a great snow park. Of course you can also enjoy snowtubing.

Those who love tobogganing can enjoy this great winter activity during the day and even in fullmoon nights, when also the taverns of the place remain open…
Moreover the area round Monte Baranci is also perfect for winter walks, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on the 6 km long round course.
