Großglockner Resort

The skiing area Großglockner Resort offers 110 km of ski slopes and is the largest skiing area all over East Tyrol. Kals and Matrei, when two become one.

When two become one. The skiing areas Kals and Matreier Goldried have become one and offer now 110 km of well groomed ski slopes. Wainting at the lift facilities, not in this skiing area. Diversity, obvious. The skiing area Großglockner Resort is a real insiders’ tip and is also considered to be one of the most beautiful skiing resorts of the entire alpine area. Glockner-, Schober- and Granatspitz mountain groups, the panoramic view is fantastic.

Slopes of various difficulty, slopes with fresh powder snow, slopes for every taste and level, this skiing area completely satisfies all your needs. Moreover it is a snow sure area and in case natural snowflakes are lacking, there is modern snowmaking equipment which guarantees your skiing pleasure. The little ones can look forward to a warm room as well as a separated area reserved for them, with magic carpet and more. Also in the village centre of Kals, on a sunny ski slope, there is an area reserved for children.

Off the slopes this region builds on soft winter sports and offers the possibility to do cross-country skiing, winter hiking, tobogganing, ice skating and do a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Enjoy skiing in the Großglockner Ski resort.
