Slovenian national football team at Brunico/Riscone

The Slovene national football team is coming to Plan de Corones for their final training camp.

Football fans are getting more and more nervous, as 2010 is an important year for them, as in summer the World Championships take place in South Africa. Some national team decided to carry out their final training camp in South Tyrol, such as the Slovene team, which is coming to Brunico/Riscone.

According to the manager of the Slovene team, the altitude of 960 m asl of this place is beneficial for his team and preparations. The preparations also include a friendly match, the adversary has not yet been fixed. However, Matjaz Kek’s team coming to Riscone on May 21 and is leaving to South Africa on June 1. The first fame of the Slovene team at the World Championships is taking place on June 13, when they are playing against Algeria.
