13th Tre Cime mountain jog

On September 12, 2010 there is the 13th edition of the Tre Cime mountain jog, taking place face to face with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, three striking pinnacles in the Dolomites.

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo mountain jog from Sesto to the Tre Cime celebrates its 13th edition. A particular characteristic of this mountain jog is the landscape in which it takes place, the Dolomites with the three striking pinnacles. However, this year there are no longer two courses available, but one single course, including 17.5 km and an altitude drop of 1,350 m. Also the centre is included in the happenings, in this way you can perfectly observe the athletes also from the centre of Sesto.

The racing weekend starts on Saturday, September 11, with the 6th Mini Corsa delle Tre Cime, a competition for kids aged 6 to 16, moreover there is an expo on running from 10 am to 6 pm in the cultural centre of Sesto. On Sunday the start of the mountain jog is scheduled for 10 am, the run is broadcast in the finish area at the Tre Cime. At midday there is a pasta party in the cultural centre, while the award ceremony is scheduled for 3.30 pm.
