No matter if you are a hiking expert or you prefer simple walks, Val Pusteria and its magnificient world of mountains offers trails and tours for every taste.

Cosy trails across shady forests, circular trails across an impressive natural landscape, high summits for mountain experts and fixed-rope routes those who prefer climbing - the opportunities for walks and mountain tours are ideal in Val Pusteria and its side valleys. Valle di Tures and Aurina, Val Badia, Valle Anterselva, the Alta Pusteria or also East Tyrol, hiking in these areas makes you experience nature at close quarters. Of course the magnificient Dolomite mountains, since June 2009 also UNESCO World heritage site, offer particularly attracting hiking destinations.

Hoewever, you do not have to be experienced if you would like to go walking in Val Pusteria, there are also walks for families with kids. Numerous trails can also be walked with prams. Particularly Sesto in Alta Val Pusteria has put in practice a very special idea. There is a special path for families and kids in the village, along which children can find plenty of possibilities to play.
