Motorbike tour to the Passo delle Erbe

An excursion to the Passo delle Erbe at the foot of the impressive Mount Sass de Putia is an absolute must for every motorbike holiday

Starting our motorbike tour in Brunico, we drive towards Bressanone in the Valle Isarco. From here, we follow the road up to the small village of S. Andrea, with its wonderful well-sighted bends and beautiful views of Bressanone and the Valle Isarco. From here, we follow the signpost "Passo delle Erbe”. Since from here the road gets narrower we have to drive carefully!

On our right a road branches off to the Val di Funes. However, we continue our tour towards Passo delle Erbe, which we reach after having passed Passo Eores (1,863 m a.s.l.). Passo delle Erbe at 2,003 m connects Bressanone in the Valle Isarco with S. Martino in the Val Badia. Passo delle Erbe offers a breathtaking mountain panorama, lying at the foot of the north face of the impressive Sass de Putia, one of the most popular mountains of South Tyrol.

After an extensive rest at Passo delle Erbe, we continue our motorbike tour on a road which soon gets narrower and finally leads us into the Val Badia. From S. Martino in Badia we follow the main road towards Longega and S. Lorenzo di Sebato. At S. Lorenzo di Sebato we turn off right and drive back to Brunico, our starting point.

Level of difficulty: moderate
Highest point: Passo delle Erbe

Please note: You can also start this tour from the Val di Funes. However, it is definitely more impressive if you come from Bressanone.
