Bassa Pusteria

Along the “Strada del Sole” to Chienes. The Bassa Pusteria includes the “sun terrace” of Terento and surroundings.

The main localites of the Bassa Pusteria are Rio di Pusteria, Rodengo, Valles, Mazanza, Vandoies, Terento and Chienes. The Bassa Val Pusteria connects the Valle Isarco and the Alta Val Pusteria. The river runs through the valley is called Rienza. It rises at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and joins the Isarco river at Bressanone.

The locality of Terento is considered to be a sun terrace… and not only this locality, but the entire Val Pusteria with its mountain peaks, galciers, forests, meadows, churches and castles like Rodengo Castle will impress you!
